PABA is necessary for the metabolism of proteins , the production of folic acid and the assimilation of pantothenic acid. It has anticancer properties, while it removes fatigue from a significant percentage of people. It restores the normal color to the hair of laboratory animals that has turned gray, and probably the same happens with humans, when gray hair is due to stress or nutritional deficiencies .
